It looks like yet another ‘90s hit will get a new life on the small screen.
Melrose Place, originally a spinoff of Beverly Hills 90210, might be hitting the CW soon.
Inside sources for network tell People magazine that Mark Schwahn, creator of the CW’s One Tree Hill, is in negotiations to pen a pilot for Melrose.
“Melrose Place will shoot a pilot during the regular pilot season,” the source said.
The soapy drama–which originally aired from ’92-’99–featured stars such as Heather Locklear, Marcia Cross, and Andrew Shue living it up in a California apartment complex.
No word yet on which cast members, if any, will be returning to Melrose Place.
