Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol gives birth to a baby boy named Tripp.

Bristol Palin welcomed a baby boy on Saturday in Palmer, Alaska.

The 18-year-old daughter of former Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin gave birth to Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston at 5:30 a.m., according to People.com.

Baby Tripp’s dad is Bristol’s fiance Levi Johnston, a former high school hockey player who’s studying to be an electrian.

“We think it’s wonderful,” says Colleen Jones, the sister of Bristol’s grandmother Sally Heath, who confirmed the news to People.
“The baby is fine and Bristol is doing well. Everyone is excited.”

Levi Johnston told the AP in October that he and Bristol plan to get married in 2009.

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz showed off their favorite Christmas gift–newborn son Bronx Mowgli–on the Fall Out Boy frontman’s website, friendsorenemies.com.

The couple’s holiday e-card reads: “We decided to share the best gift we could ever receive with you: Bronx Mowgli Wentz.”

Baby Bronx was born Nov. 20.

Ultimate playboy Lance Armstrong and girlfriend Anna Hansen are expecting their first child, People magazine reports.

The cycling star, who has dated celebs Sheryl Crow and Kate Hudson, told the mag, “Anna and I are thrilled to confirm that we are expecting in June and our families are ecstatic and grateful.”

“We are very much looking forward to what 2009 brings on many fronts.”

Armstrong, 37, who famously won seven Tour de France races after battling testicular cancer, announced in September he will be returning to professional cycling.

Lance already has three children from a previous marriage to Kristin Richards.

Angie Harmon and former NFL player husband Jason Sehorn welcomed their third child on Thursday according to People magazine.

The new bundle of joy, Emery Hope Sehorn, is a “healthy baby girl,” the mag reports.

Emery joins two older sisters, Finley Faith, 5, and Avery Grace, 3.

Harmon and Sehorn married in June of ’01.

Kelly Rutherford is pregnant with baby No. 2, but the Gossip Girl mom isn’t saying goodbye her toddler son’s baby days just yet.

Rutherford says she still breastfeeds her 2-year-old, Hermes.

“It’s an amazing bond with your child. Some cultures do it up to five years, normally. I thought, ‘Well, I’ll just do it as long as it feels right for my son,’” Rutherford tells Us Weekly.

Another possible reason the actress has stuck with breastfeeding so long?

“I was thinner after my pregnancy than before, and I think a lot of it was the nursing,” she tells the mag. “They say it helps your body get back to shape in a natural way.”

Rutherford and husband Daniel Giersch are expecting their second child this summer.
