Dancing With the Stars pros Karina Smirnoff  and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are getting married!

Britney Spears’ brother rang in the New Year with an extra-special celebration: The 31-year-old tied the knot with Graciella Sanchez.

Sanchez, 36, is his little sister Jamie Lynn’s longtime manager.

The couple got married in a private ceremony in New Orleans, People reports.

“It was beautiful,” a source told the mag. “It was only close family, very small and intimate.”

Brian Spears and Sanchez only started dating recently but his family seems to approve.

“The family was totally excited,” a family friend tells People. “Graciella’s wonderful. Everybody was happy about it.”

Sanchez wore an off-white Carolina Herrera dress for the wedding and the groom was decked out in a Marc Jacobs suit.

Britney and Jamie Lynn celebrated with their big brother — with their kids Jayden James, Preston and Maddie in tow — along with parents Jamie and Lynne Spears.

Former America’s Next Top Model winner Eva Marcille got a Christmas surprise from her House of Payne actor boyfriend Lance Gross: A big ol’ diamond ring.

Gross, 27, popped the question to Marcille, 24, on Dec. 24 while the couple was
vacationing with their families at the Big Bear Ski Resort outside of L.A., according to Essence.com.

While she was opening gifts, Marcille (who changed her name from Pigford) received a pillow with a note attached that read: “Hope you like it. Give this pillow to the man you love and he will explain,” the website reports.

Gross then got on one knee and presented his girlfriend of a year and a half with a 3.36-carat 1895 Pave Cartier ring.

“I was in a complete state of shock! I cried. It was totally unexpected. I’m still in shock. I could not even sleep because I was afraid that I might wake up from the most beautiful dream ever,” Marcille told Essence.

An equally ecstatic Gross added, “She asked, ‘Baby, is this real? Baby, are you playing with me? Then she said, ‘Forever and always: Yes, Yes, Yes!’ And jumped up and hugged me, crying, and then she did her happy dance!”

The couple met on an audition for the film The Express two years ago.

It’s almost the new year, but Scarlett Johansson is still enjoying the fact she was able to pull of an ‘08 resolution: Having a super-private wedding with actor Ryan Reynolds.

“It was my mission to have a moment of privacy, to do something for myself,” the newlywed told the Los Angeles Times. “I was happy with the results of that.”

Johansson, 24, and Reynolds, 32, tied the knot at a Canadian resort in September but didn’t reveal the news until almost a month later.

Actress Zooey Deschanel is about to be a married woman a source confirms to CelebTV.com.

Deschanel, 28, who currently stars with Jim Carey in Yes Man — said yes to Ben Gibbard, 32, her Death Cab for Cutie rocker boyfriend.

“They are so thrilled. Zooey was swept off her feet, and Ben is so excited,” the source added.

No word on whether or not a wedding date has been set.
