The record-breaking Olympic gold medalist will host the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, NBC announced Wednesday. Rapper Lil Wayne will be the musical guest.
The coveted hosting gig on SNL will be Phelps’ first appearance as an actor.
SNL premieres on Sept. 13.
